CLAIRE FRIED
Attorney Claire Fried is a native of Portsmouth, Ohio. She attended the Ohio State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating summa cum laude. Claire went on to receive her Master of Arts in English in 1993. Immediately following graduation, she was accepted in to the prestigious Duke University School of Law and began practicing law in 1996. Over the years, Claire has handled thousands of bankruptcy cases that were successfully filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Claire is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. She also serves her community as a member of the Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library Board of Trustees. She lives in Chillicothe with her two teenage children who attend Chillicothe High School.
MELINDA BENSON
Attorney Melinda Benson grew up in Ross County Ohio. She attended Shawnee State University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. Melinda recently completed her Law Degree from Capital University Law School while working full time and raising three daughters. Melinda was sworn in by the Ohio Supreme Court in May 2023 and has worked with Claire for 14 years.
